The High School and Junior High Youth Group meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. . We strive to teach young people how to make moral decisions based on Catholic Christian values. Our goal at St. Frederic Parish is to help young people to feel like a valued part of the church, through involvement of our youth ministry and by reaching out to serve people in the community. We help our youth develop a better understanding of their parents and to learn how to communicate better with others by assisting them in developing healthy self-concepts and providing our youth with guidance as they face personal, spiritual, and vocational decisions.
St. Frederic Parish helps to provide a community for young people where they can develop meaningful relationships with other youth and adult leaders by facilitating our youth to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We assist them in developing an appreciation for what is unique about the Catholic faith by practicing a better understanding of the Holy Bible and what it means to us today. Through the Holy Mass and other forms of prayer, we teach our youth to pray and to foster healing and reconciliation in our young people's lives and relationships, and understand the place of the sacraments in the Christian life. Additionally, we give our youth the opportunity to fulfill leadership roles and to foster the spiritual growth of young people through liturgies and prayer experiences.
